NEW Digital Aerial Photo Service |
||
|
We are excited to announce that we
will now be offering a digital air photo service. It’s always exciting to
announce new products and services, but with this new service it’s even more
so, as we can also announce an expedited timeline for this
product. Now, instead of waiting weeks for air photos to be couriered to you,
digital photos can be emailed in as little as 4 days from when
you select the photos you require. Digital photos instead of couriered hard
copies, in a matter of days rather than weeks, starting March 1st
-- Check out the website for a detailed review of this new service. |

What's NEW with the Databases? |
||
|
Make sure to visit our website at www.eris.ca to see how frequently our database listings are updated. Here are some highlights: Convictions, EBR and RSC in Ontario are all updated to December 2008. In Quebec, the PEP (tanks), CS, and HWDS databases are current up to December 2008 and Convictions up to January 2009. The ES – (Spills) database in Saskatchewan is current up to December 2008 . Federal - NPRI - Up to 2007; Private - OGW - Up to December 2008; New Brunswick - FISH - Up to 2008. As of mid-2008, our data analysis team is updating all of the databases throughout the year, rather than annually. Our information is always current, accurate, and presented in a digital format for ease of accessibility.
Should you not see a database you’re
looking for, we may still have it, but we may have catalogued it with a
different name, for example: PTTW (permits to take water) in Ontario? Or CPUs (certificates of property use)? Those aren’t listed independently on the site, but are included as part of the EBR database. In British Columbia, looking for COORS or SWIS data? It’s not on the list under those titles, but we have data. The GEN and REC data is taken from the SWIS database and the CPL and CONV databases are taken from COORS. ERIS tries to assign names to databases that are consistent across the country, from province to province. If you don’t see a database listed on the database listings site, please contact Mark Mattei, Research & Development Manager mmattei@eris.ca. Or call 416-510-6859. Mark is familiar with our entire inventory of data and he will either help you find what you are looking for, or put it on his list to collect. |
