The Quebec Environmental Risk Report (Rapport de risques environnementaux pour le Québec - RRE) is a report designed to meet the needs of (but not limited to) Quebec environmental consultants on a budget and with time restraints. The RRE report searches the Top 5 most consulted provincial environmental databases in Quebec for a subject site and all adjacent properties within 250 meters. The cost of this report is $195, is delivered within 4 business days at NO extra charge and is available in either English or French. ERIS’ new and improved website provides clients with the ability to manage their own on-line account. As registered ERIS members, clients are now able to update their mailing address, e-mail, or phone number themselves within the “My Account” section of the ERIS site. Clients can even change their assigned login and password information to anything they wish.

In addition to the “My Account” section of the website, a new area was created where clients can keep track of the orders they place. Within the “Manage Reports” section, clients can not only pick up their completed ERIS reports, but they can also see what orders have been placed, the status of their orders, due dates and to whom the report has been assigned. In this way, ERIS clients can now manage their own account and reports at their own convenience.

To access this personalized area of the website, clients can go to the ERIS home

page, www.eris.ca  and click on the "Sign In" tab on the top right hand corner. If you’ve forgotten your password, just click on the "Forgot Password" link on the "Sign In" page and your login information will be e-mailed to you instantly.
If you do not have an ERIS account and wish to have one, creating one is free and easy - just click on the "Register" tab in the top right hand corner of the home page and sign up for your access.

What's NEW with the Databases?

The following is a list of the latest updates to some significant databases since the last edition of In the Crosshairs. Of note is the re-naming of one key BC database.

The Certificates of Approval database for British Columbia has been updated and records are now current to April 2009. From ERIS customers' feedback it was decided to rename this database “Authorizations” to keep in accordance with the database name assigned by the province of British Columbia, thus eliminating some ambiguity concerning data availability.

In addition, the Contaminated Sites on Federal Land database has been updated to May 2009.

Alberta Convictions is updated to March 2009.

Records for the Waste Disposal Site databases in Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan are both current to May 2009.

Spills and Crown Land Fuel Tanks in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories have been updated to June 2009.

For more details, please see our website: www.eris.ca. It’s always a good idea to refer to the database listings on ERIS’ website for the most current updates.
