Additional Services: Historical Land Titles can be very difficult and time consuming to research. It is for this reason that we ask our clients to provide as much information on their site as possible when ordering an historical land title search. Providing PIDs and PINs or a legal description (lot, block and plan number) at the time of ordering will greatly expedite turnaround times. For prices and delivery times, click here.

On April 20-21 the ERIS Team attended the CANECT Trade Show 2009 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The event was held over two days and featured over 450 exhibits and displays in the latest environmental, EHS and related ideas, solutions and technologies. It was conveniently co-located with IAPA’s “Health and Safety 2009” CANECT 2009 was a great opportunity for the ERIS Team to participate in seminars dealing with Approvals and Permits, Environmental Standards and Guidelines for Due Diligence and Environmental Protection. It also allowed us the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with our clients; overall the show was a success. |

What's NEW with the Databases? |
ERIS recently updated some key databases in the
Western provinces since its last issue of In the Crosshairs.
TSSA Tank Data |
An important factor to consider when performing environmental due diligence is the history and location of tanks on a site. The Technical Standards and Safety Authority’s tank data is a part of ERIS’ inventory of databases for Ontario. This information can be found under our FST (Fuel Storage Tanks) database. ERIS has upgraded the quality of the database by storing historical records. There’s no overwriting of data and in the event that a tank is removed from a site, a record of the tank will always remain in ERIS’ FST database. The FST database is a very quick and convenient way to obtain vital current and historical tank information for your site as well as that of neighbouring properties. |

ERIS Report Updates |

BC Standard Report Plus A Stage 1 Preliminary Site Investigation (PSI) in British Columbia requires a review of historical records and specifically a review of potential contamination at the subject site and adjacent sites. The BC Standard Report Plus is designed to meet these requirements in the review of historical records for a PSI by searching all of ERIS’ environmental and historical databases within 250m from the subject site and all potentially contaminated sites (PCS) within 500m. The cost of the report is only $395.
Site Registry
information is also available from ERIS . There are times when clients need to do a very quick, cursory search on a property. In that instance the ERIS Self Serve Instant report is a great tool. The Self Serve Instant report is available to all registered ERIS clients online. Clients simply enter in the company and address information of their subject site via the ERIS website and in a matter of minutes their database report is available for download. The Self Serve Instant report is our most affordable report type and is only $95. It’s important to note that this is a self-serve report and that no ERIS representative will be verifying the output. It is for that reason that this report type requires clients to have accurate and complete company, city and address information; otherwise reports may be incomplete. If clients are concerned about the completeness or accuracy of the information provided in this type of report, then we recommend the Site Report for only $130 as an alternative. The Site Report is delivered within 2 business days and is verified and completed by one of our Production Analysts. |
