Land Titles contain legal title information concerning property ownership, transfer
details and any encumbrances such as mortgages or easements.
Each time a new transaction occurs, property records are updated as soon as the
instrument is registered. Please note that the information contained within a land
title search does differ based on the province or territory. For instance, in addition
to receiving the parcel registry, a site map may be available indicating parcel
identification numbers, or additional textual abstracts may be included. As such
the cost of a title search generally ranges between $20 - $100Cdn. Where a title
search is requested for sites outside of Ontario, clients will be contacted to confirm
cost estimates and search requirements. Where available, registered property plans
can also be ordered.

Historic Land Titles or Abstract Title Searches can also be requested and range
in price from $100 to $700. The turnaround time for these title searches vary and can take up to 4 months depending
on area and how far back the land goes before Crown Land. Orders are subject to a $40 research fee when the title search
is not purchased.
